Review of Hampton Inn/Stirling Road FLL

Just a quick overview... Booked this hotel on Bookit dot com.... paid $73 total for room for 2. Was on the 3rd Floor... Had read they were remodeling and our room was updated. Comfy beds, nice bathroom. Didn't use the pool (small) and no hot-tub. Clerks were friendly and helpful.

 

Did not go to shopping/dining area next door. Taxied to Sawgrass (desk clerk arranged this). Spent the day there. Expensive but fun!!

 

Shuttle to airport runs on the hour beginning at 5 a.m. Hotel has hot breakfast and the person 'doing' that had many items out prior to 6 a.m. knowing many were catching the 6 a.m. shuttle.

 

Would consider them again for pre-or post cruise if the price was right. But, as I travel with a teen 'shop-a-holic' daughter, closer proximity to a mall is preferable.

We have a bookit.com Mystery Suite for April! It's especially good to see that they have multiple hourly shuttles!
