Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Airport North or South

I remember reading that one of the Hyatt Places in Fort Lauderdale was conveniently located near restaurants and liquor stores and one was not, but now I can't find that thread. Can someone clarify for me?

Also, I know that the Hyatt Place charges for a shuttle to the cruise port, but do they offer a free shuttle from the airport?

Here's the thread I started comparing the two hotels. Both have free airport shuttle but charge for port shuttle. I would stay at either but North is much more convenient if you want to walk to stores and restaurants. If you have any specific questions I will try to answer them. :D
