Oasis/Allure Interior Guarantee Experiences?

Has anyone had any experience booking an interior guarantee on the Oasis or Allure? Where did you end up? Were you upgraded?

 

I wouldn't normally book one (a balcony gty, maybe) but I'm considering a solo cruise and it's the only cost-effective way to do it.

I do guarantees on all sailings and have never had an issue. On the Oasis that interior guarantee turned into a Boardwalk Balcony. I personally would of rather had the interior. It was cool to have during the day but was pretty loud early in the morning.

I was upgraded to an ocean view. They just sent me a new invoice; no phone call.

We had 3 interior gty rooms on the Allure and ended up with Large Interior rooms (most likely no upgrade because we had 3 res. linked together) and 2 were adjoining and 1 around the corner in Fwd deck 8 which is now my perfect location and will definitely sail on 8 again!
