Stingray Sandbar Tours - Recommendations?

We are not good swimmers so would like to do a tour that goes to the Sandbar area where water is waist deep. Can anyone recommend a good tour company that goes to the sandbar and maybe a beach as well

We were there in March. Nice time.

Boat is anchored at the sandbar - step down the ladder off the back and paddle to where the rest of the group is standing. Water height varied from thigh high to waist high, depending on where you stood (and the waves).

We also went snorkeling...about a 5 minute boat ride from the sandbar.

After, he bussed us to anywhere we wanted...7 mile beach or back to town. We had him drop us at the beach right near his dock/place near a Tiki restaurant. Had a great lunch there....restaurant is right on the beach, with roof for shade. Then we walked the beach awhile. When we were done, walked towards the road (runs parallel with the beach, right near it) and flagged a cab back to the port area. $2/each for the cab ride (actually they're vans).

Nice. Easy. Safe.

Definitely Stingray Sailing with Chip and Buster. Was there last week and had a fabulous time! Chip met us at the pier, took a short ride to the other side of the island to the marina where Buster and the catamaran Far-Tortuga were waiting for us. There were 8 in all, a very small group. We went to the sandbar and virtually had it to ourselves for an hour before the ship's excursions arrived with hundreds of people. Then Chip took us snorkeling, and we sailed back. Had fruit and drinks on the way back in. Was fabulous and personal! Chip will then drop you at 7 mile beach, just ask him. He is a Cayman native and will tell you all you need to know to get around. It is very easy in Cayman.

I also recommend snorkeling in Cayman. Put on a life Jacket and float! That's all you need to do to enjoy absolutely beautiful reefs! The water isn't very deep, but is crystal clear and the tropical fish are amazing! Far better than Jamaica and Cozumel in my opnion!

We used Moby Dick on our last visit to GC and will use them again later this month. Stingray City is a waist deep sandbar - no swimming required. Great service, not crowded, and no pressure to buy photos or videos. Good luck! :)

Moby Dick is a big blue boat. Stingray Sailing is a catamaran. We chose the catamaran with the sails and the "trampoline" on front. My girls enjoyed the "trampoline" to sun on while we sailed out to the sand bar. Go to their websites. oh, no professional photographers or expensive photos on our boat, just fresh fruit, beer, water, and individual attention. Disposable underwater camera's work great in cayman because the water is crystal clear!
