Beach wedding

I'm looking for some advice for a beach wedding to be held on the beach in either Playa del Carmen or Cozumel during a cruise in November on the Sensation. We've been to Cozumel several times, but understand that the beaches in PdC are beautiful (besides it's the 1st stop). Has anyone else gotten married while on a cruise, but not with the cruise lines help? Can you recommend someone in PdC to handle things? Thanks for your help!! Several family members and friends are also booked. Do any of the hotel offer weddings even if you're not a guest?....so many questions!

I did it in Key west. Not the same I know but still planned from a distance and for a beach wedding. A good idea is to first research local businesses on line. Then email, phone, and visit. Two days of recon should do it. We had a really great wedding! Oh! you could also do it through a resort, then you wouldn`t have to worry about anything, but it can get a little pricey!
