Just curious, why does everyone seem to prefer early seating?

We booked early seating on our first Disney cruise after seeing on the message boards that it was harder to switch from late to early than the other way around. We haven't sailed yet, but expect this choice will be right for us (2 adults0 as we do tend to eat pretty early and though we are form the West Coast, we will be a WDW for 11 nights prior to the cruise. -- Suzanne

Its funny, have seen this question many times on other boards and it is always why do people chose late seating. As someone who has traveled with my children, it is just a matter of it being a Disney ship.
