If you're familure with booking a hotel..ROH (run of the house) this is what this catagory means...Can sometimes be a great deal...Good luck !!

This is called a Guarantee Cabin. You pay the lowest possible price but you have NO say in the location of the cabin, you are just assured that there will be a cabin for you.

 

After the pre-selected Cabin Categories are paid-in-full 960 TO 70 DAYS PRIOR TO SAIT DATE), if there are cabins still available, RCI will then sometimes have a price drop, in order to fill any remaining categories/cabins. After all that, they will look to see how many "Z" guarantees they have, and what cabins are still available. The cruise line then selects your cabin for you, which you will learn, when you get to the check-in counter at the pier. If you are unhappy and refuse the cabin selected, you will then be given the opportunity to pick an unassigned cabin, if any still remain. However, you will have to pay the difference in price immediately, between the "Z" price and the actual price of the cabin.

 

Sometimes this "Z" can result in getting a Balcony or Oceanview without having to pay the price of it. Othertimes, you may get an Inside cabin on Deck 2. You just never know!

It mean that RCL will assign the cabin for you rather than letting you pick your own cabin. This is a great option if you do not care where your cabin is.
