How naked is Orient beach?

There is a nude side and a bathing suit side to orient beach.You will see some of both on either beach but usually peple stay on one side or the other.Some are completely nude and some are just topless.Beautiful beach.

The beach is so long with so many areas that I don't believe "side" really applies. It seems like the closer you get to Club Orient, the more toplessness/nudity you encounter. Please keep in mind that this is the French side of the island. Female topless sunbathing is allowed anywhere along it. If you are offended by this, go elsewhere. I'm not making a judgement one way or the other here. Just reminding us that the French culture is more open to topless sunbathing than the U.S. culture. It's a wonderful beach. We loved it.

Except for beach area directly in front of Club Orient, most people on the beach will ber fully clothed. At the part of the beach in front of CLub Orient, most people will be naked. Toplessness varies. The beach is quite long. Occasionally naked people will be walking the full length of the beach.

From our experience last week, many of those at Club Orient were NOT completely nude. Toplessness was quite common. Many men and women were wearing full bathing suits. And along the beach in other areas there were many, many topless women (and some nude men).

 

In any case, it's a gorgeous beach with warm, clear water.
