tassycatt Posted April 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 9, 2011 We arrive in Miami around 10 am day of cruise. Everything is paid for but my question is, can I go into carnival.com and sign up for the shuttle?
spencercoop Posted April 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted April 9, 2011 I am not sure, but it doesn't hurt to go online and try to book it. Or you could call Carnival directly.
BeccaBecca1713 Posted April 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2011 Don't quote me, but I believe you have to call no less than 7 days before your cruise to book the Carnival Shuttle. Looks like you better call NOW!
ladyd11933 Posted April 9, 2011 #4 Share Posted April 9, 2011 I would just take a taxi, it is $24 flat rate from MIA to Port of Miami. Carnival charges $16 per person.

To POM? Do not bother - a taxi from MIA to POM is a flat rate of $24+tip for the 15 or so minute ride. That price is for the cab, not per person -- you can save even more by sharing a cab with other cruisers! ;) Good luck! :)
LucyR. Posted April 9, 2011 #6 Share Posted April 9, 2011 You don't need a reservation for the Carnival transfer shuttle bus. Just look for a representative at the airport and you will be able to board the bus and be charged later on your ship&sail card. I do that all the time with all of the cruiselines. Plus, there are plenty of other private shuttle companies who will take you to your cruise ship too. Just make a deal and ask how much? Don't worry you will find transportation to the ship without a reservation. I never make a reservation in advance because I never know what is available until I walk out of the airport. Sometimes I end up in a Limo or private car for the price of a shuttle van. I first pay the price for a shuttle and then their workers are the ones who put me in a Limo or private nice car to the cruise ship or hotel. The same thing could happen to you. H82seaUgo Posted April 9, 2011 #7 Share Posted April 9, 2011 we walked up to them once, and they graciously accepted our money right there and then. but i agree you're better off just getting your own cab. lot easy quicker, and no waiting. they're all lined up outside waiting for you, in the same place as the buses.
