Port Canaveral camera, why no view of ships?

I'm trying to see the Freedom (we will be on her in June) but all I see is parking lot? Do they ever have the camera focused on the actual ships? Am I missing something here?

Because it seems they only show one particular dock instead of multiple docks. If a ship isn't in that dock, you won't see any.

Yeah, I don't know who controls the camera but every now and then it gets turned to show nothing. It is on a good angle to show the ship heading down the channel though so keep watching and you will see it.

I realize that (since we are booked on it) but I've never caught a view of ships when I've pulled up this camera. I was just interested to see if they ever really focus on the ships. There should be other ships there today. The Carnival Dream and I think a Disney ship should be there today if I'm not mistaken.

It seems that there is no one to turn camera on Saturdays. This has been going on for a good while now.

This link is a cool cam to watch the ships go past once they leave the port. It usually takes 20-25 minutes for them to reach here.

Jovi...if you check the camera on Sundays morning, you will see a great shot of Freedom. You will also be able to see people and cars moving about in the shot.

Ya normally the freedom gets in around 6:30-7am EST so I heard and it leaves around 4:30-5pm EST. The camera is normally pointed at the freedom and the Disney ship is behind it.

Great site. It usually turns on about 4:00. Watched today five ships were there. The ships don"t all leave the same time so keep watching. Enjoy the view.......dave
