$65 a day rental sound okay?

I've found someone who will rent a Jeep Wrangler for the day for $65 ($60 cost, $5 liability, no collision) plus tax. They will drop off and pick up at the cruise pier. Does this sound like a good deal? Also, they want a credit card # when submitting website reservation. Is this the norm?

This sounds in the ballpark with other prices I found when researching for our trip last month (wound up taxiing instead, just so I could sit back & take pictures instead of driving). You might wish to check if any of your credit cards offers collision coverage as a perk.

I forgot to mention that it was a few dollars extra because they had the car waiting for me at the dock (I didn't have to go back to their office to sign paperwork), and they picked up at the dock as well.

Note: If you get a Jeep and you take the top totally off (VERY much recommended!) be sure you watch how it is done! We had a brief, 5-min unexpected bit of rain, and thankfully we watched how they unlatched the top.
