Hotels Close to Tampa Port

Does anyone have any suggestions on hotels close to the port in Tampa? Leaving on the Miracle on 1 May 05. Thanks for any info. :)

We used Priceline and got the downtown Hyatt for 48 dollars per night. We were on the Miracle Christmas week.

I used Priceline.com for pre and post cruise hotels. Go the Wyndham Westshore and Marriott Tampa Westshore each under 50.00 per night. I also got a full size car rental for 15.00 each day. I selected the downtown area for the hotels. advised good section of Tampa. Don't stay by Busch Gardens not very good area. Good luck shopping.

Hilton-Westshore is a nice hotel that also comes up on Priceline 3 star, airport area. Free shuttle from airport & $5pp to the pier. I think we got it for $45 bid. Also located close to International Mall. Good place to shop, eat & drink.
