What to do with kids??

Hi,

We will be in Belize in June with our 7 and 9 year old, and trying to figure out what to do for the day.

The kids do not want to go cave tubing, so are the ruins "boring" in the kids eye's? Is there any beaches that we could take them too and have them feel safe?

Anyone's advice would be greatly appreciated.

We did the Altun Ha/river cruise with two six year olds and two nine year olds. It was the only thing we could come up with in Belize that kids to Grandparents could all do. (except DH) he went cave tubing on his own.

It was a fun day. They liked climbing the ruins, local kids went into the jungle and brought out a Boa Constrictor for them to see, they had a ball taking pictures of all the different animals they saw as we went down the river.

We were all together so probably woudl have had fun no matter what we did. Next time in Belize I am going to a beach though, lol.
