Were can we stay?

Hi! There's tons of info on this board. It's hard to know where to begin: Old San Juan, Condado and Isla Verde seem to be the most popular areas. Depends on what you are looking for.

We're cruising on the Destiny, so we've booked the Sheraton Old San Juan for the pre-cruise (El Convento was our first choice, but they were charging $70 more per night because we have two kids!); and Wyndham Condado Hotel & Casino post cruise.

If you can be more specific about when you are traveling and what your needs are, the folks on this board could probably be more responsive....

Click on my link below. It will show a variety of hotels in the Old San Juan and Condado area and their relationship to the cruise piers. I have personally stayed in the Sheraton Old San Juan, Wydham Condado Plaza and the Marriott. All have provided the function of providing a place to sleep. The Sheraton provides easier access to nightlife without taking a taxi, but no beach. The other two provide beach access. All are just a short taxi away from the pan am pier.

Just stayed our precruise night at ES. Service was excellent. They have ES amenities of manager's reception 5-7 and complimentary "made to order" breakfast. The pool lagoon is very nice..several pools, whirlpools, waterfall, etc. Outback Steakhouse is in hotel. The have a small casino and live latin combo with dancefloor. Very festive.

The beach is just a short walk away.

This hotel worked out well for our short stay.
