Cabin above Theatre

Hello, hoping someone with experience of staying in a cabin above the theatre on the Queen Victoria can help.

 

Booked a guarantee cabin and have just discovered that we've been allocated 4004 which is directly above the theatre.

 

Has anyone stayed in a cabin directly above the theatre and is noise a concern? we're on the second sitting and will probably see the late shows in the theatre.

Without wishing to state the obvious, if you are in the theatre for the second show and they shut it after that until the following day, you are very unlikely to experience any noise overnight. During daytime rehearsals you may, but in all honesty you will probably not be in your cabin for that.

I have been known to fall asleep in the theatre during a performance. Mrs. T was not at all impressed.

I was in 4005 on the Elizabeths maiden voyage, and didn't hear a thing... Only once in the afternoon though, we could hear the faint noise of Lulu rehearsing, and that was only when in the bathroom... apart from that not a peep....

 

loved the room and the position on the ship was great being that far forward and i was nervous about it to begin with but all fears gone as soon as we stepped aboard and it was perfect hope you enjoy.. :)

We're in 4024 and also I think above the upper level of the theatre. I'm very pleased it's not far from the Commodore club, straight up in the lift!:)

Even if you hear something, the shows and entertainment are SO wonderful on Cunard, that it'll be like getting a private concert! Enjoy it!

Following our QE trip I can confirm there was no noise at all from the theatre in the late evening. We did hear a little bit in the afternoons when rehearsals were taking place.
