  1. We are on qm2 on Nov 19th transatlantic in a few weeks and literally just bought the package a few moments ago for the week as well for $70pppd. Glad it’s been reduced back down. For us it’s worth it now.
  2. Hey everyone. We are booked on the November 19th transatlantic on QM2 this year and arrive in NYC a few days after thanksgiving. does anyone know when they decorate the ship for the holiday season? Is it usually before our voyage date ,maybe during or the one after? Thanks in advance fraser 🙂
  3. Amazing Swanseaboy. Answered it perfectly. I was thinking that must be the case but couldn’t find any info. many thanks. 🙂
  4. Hi Everyone. I hope this really isn’t a silly question, but, do we just need our cruise confirmation paperwork(boarding pass) when we go to the airport to fly to Barbados? I can’t find any info at all on the P&O website so thought I’d ask here. We are flying from Birmingham to join Arvia on March 17th. Thanks in advance n happy cruising everyone. 🙂
  5. 😂😂😂. Ooops. So it is. Maths was never my strong point 😂😂
  6. I’ve done solo before there was single rooms and the discount was about 25%ish on a double room. So if it’s 50% that’s amazing, well better haha The image of the grills deck outside shows a skylight in the centre above the grills longe s the plans show 🙂
  7. Thanks so much for all of your replies. Very helpful. That’s just it, it is the hassle of the flights for us that’s the issue and amount of luggage (shoes,dj’s) etc. think we will try smarten up our casual night stuff for the two formal nights. That should do the trick. So excited for the trip. hope you all enjoy your next cruises whenever they are. 🙂
  8. Apologies if this has been asked before but we are on Arvia in the Caribbean in March. I’m sure I saw somewhere that they don’t have any formal nights on these trips, is this the case? Do they only have casual nights? many thanks 🙏
  9. Hey Everyone. we are thinking of upgrading from n inside to an outside cabin on Arvia and wondered if anyone that’s sailed on Iona has experienced a connecting cabin? What is the noise insulation like between connecting cabins? Are you any more aware of noise from next door compared to standard noise from corridors etc. We are considering the saver fare so might get one of these rooms so just wanted to see what peoples experiences are in these. many thanks 🙂
