NEEDED BEACHES.....No AI please, fairly close to down town pier...

We will be in Cozumel next week, we want to go to the bech in the morning and lunch/ shopping in the afternoon. We are looking for a decent beach w/ drinks that isnt too far. We'd rather spend our $ on shopping than cabs. Thanks

Go to Chankanaab National Park. Short taxi ride, great beach, has facilities, and taxis will be waiting for you when you want to return. Yes, there is a nominal charge per person for entry to the park, but it's well worth it.

 

To me, Chank is the best value in Coz.

Only cost $2 to get a chair , beautiful pool, resort feel, you can't go wrong , i think its $14 for 4 people. 1 way, cheaper when you have more people. Have been to nachi, and Mr sanchos. Paradise is the best. They have a few shops there also , friend bought cute swimsuit cover up. there are shops down by the ocean also. Beach was dirty that day due to a storm. We were glad we had the pool.

What ship are you on? Know where you're docking? Just guessing but since from PM and International piers is around $7 for 2-4 people to downtown plaza, I'd say use that. $14 RT. From downtown, Punta Langosta, you might even walk it if it's not too hot and humid.

we are on NCL Epic, arriving at Porto Langusto ( Sp????) maybe I'll ask for walking directions, distances etc....
