Oh my. I was on this cruise (We had a great time! I love Bermuda and the Explorer, first time for me sailing on her). I saw this guy everywhere...I believe even after we left Bermuda. ????

 

I had no idea anything unsavory even happened on our cruise, though some friends saw security sort of "serious" about something one night in the casino.

 

We did have a lot of fog coming back which resulted in the ship's horn being sounded about every five minutes.

Okay....booze smuggling is one thing....but smuggling on Pot?!?!? Plus the fact that he had 3 small kids in the cabin and one of the "cigarettes" was already partially smoked...he's lucky he didn't get caught here in America where he could have gotten charged with child neglect/endangerment. :eek:

Sorry All...I just re-read my above post and realized how Prudish I sound. I just don't like the thought that he had kids with him whilst engaging in illegal activities. The Prude award goes to me today I guess! :rolleyes:

But of course his DW would have to have known and may have even participated in disposing of the 1/2 of the "cigarette". Sure wish the power mongers would spend our money and their time on things more pressing than a guy getting high. Big whoop....who cares. He wasn't driving or operating machinery. Damn do gooders strike again!

No but he did have three small children with him and regardless of how any of us feel about the legality of marijuana, it affects your judgement / reaction response time which is EXTREMELY irresponsible when you have three young kids on vacation with you.

Regardless of what the opinion is on the marijuana issue, it is a total dispect and stupidity to bring it into a country where it is illegal and onto a ship which clearly states it will not be tolerated.

 

As for our poster who was afraid that they were sounding "prudish", being

under the influence while having children in your responsibilty is something to be concerned about. It also makes me very concerned when adults get bombed in front of their children aboard.
