question about RCCL excursion

RCCL offers an excursion that is titled Away from the Crowds Beach Break. It doesn't state what beach you will be going to... just that it is a 15 min. ride through Phillipsburg. Does anyone have any idea if the beach is a good one? We'd prefer a beach not so populated (ie:Orient Bay) ....

go to dawn beach, the waves are great, it is so nice, we just got back rented a car, toured the island went to orient, not at all crowded, then spent 2 hours at dawn beach, it was the best!!!!!

RCCL's clain that this beach is only 15 minutes from the ship is very constraining. Great Bay Hotel, Divi Divi and Belair, all at the north end of Philipsburg might meet the ship's definition. All are on decent beaches and are never crowded.

Rick - Don't forget Guana Bay is easily within 15 minutes.

I've never gone to away from the crowd's beach......... BUT we booked a tour for away from the crowds beach. I will be going on the tour in about two weeks when i go on my Mariner cruise :)
