Launderette

We are heading to Montreal in less than 3 weeks for the first Canada/New England cruise post-dry dock on the Maasdam. This is our first HAL cruise and we're REALLY excited! Does anyone know how much it is to do a load of laundry in the launderette? Thanks.

It has been a few years for me, but I think it is about $2 per load. Soap is free and dispensed directly into the washer. If you want dryer sheets you will need to bring them yourself. The machines take US quarters; you can bring your own or get change at the font office.

I don't think the Maasdam has a launderette. We went two years ago on the same trip - it is a great trip. Enjoy.

She does. In fact, all the S & R Class Ships (and Prinsendam) do. Only the Vista and Signature Class Ships lack this feature.

the laundry rooms on the maasdam are located on main deck, lower promenade deck and i remember one of the verandah deck as i have used that one -- but looking at the deck plans -- it seems to be gone(?)

the washer is $2 -- bush the button once to dispense the liquid soap -- you cen get the quarters at the front deck

the dryer is $1 -- take your own fabric softner sheets
