Sarapdot Posted March 12, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2005 I joined LA in January and have lost 20 lbs so far. I am going for a goal of 70-80 lbs lost by this Nov. They say I should reach my goal by Sept. Anyone else on LA? What's your story?
madoan76133 Posted April 27, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2005 I was on La Weight loss for 5 months and lost 50 pounds but slowly got off and started cheating and all the weight plus some came back. Just make sure you stick with it and do maintenance!!!

GinandAl Posted April 30, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 30, 2005 Hi! ~ I'm not doing LA, I do Low Carb WOE (way of eating) on my own, but my DS, DN & SIL are going to LA! They have been for over a year now and are all doing great! I think it is a good program, I was just to cheap to join! CONGRATULATIONS on the 20 lbs. you've lost so far!! I hope you make your goal!! Seaside2358 Posted April 30, 2005 #5 Share Posted April 30, 2005 I joined 3 weeks ago and have lost 11 pounds so far. Want to lose a total of 20-25 lbs. I'm even doing it without their LA Lite bars which really ticks them off. I think they are ridiculously expensive...
Sarapdot Posted May 1, 2005 Author #6 Share Posted May 1, 2005 You're right they are expensive, but we didn't know any better when we joined. I have lost 28 pounds now. I am so excited. I can't wait for our cruise.

Sarapdot Posted May 1, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted May 1, 2005 Me too! I started out losing more than the recomended 2 pounds a week, but then it slowed down. I just finished my 13th week on LA and I have lost 28 pounds, so I am still a little over the 2 pounds a week. It just seems so slow! I want it to go faster, but I know that I am losing it at a healthy rate.
whitecloud Posted May 1, 2005 #9 Share Posted May 1, 2005 And a plus for this program you get used to the amount varity and size of foods you should eat. A balanced diet should be one we can live with, with a few treats between.
tennisobo Posted May 10, 2005 #10 Share Posted May 10, 2005 I've seen the LA commercials on TV. What kind of program is it? Really curious.....
Sarapdot Posted May 11, 2005 Author #11 Share Posted May 11, 2005 It's a healthy eating program. It teaches you to eat fresh foods that are not processed. It also teaches you how much of eat foods to eat each day.
herewego Posted May 14, 2005 #12 Share Posted May 14, 2005 On the TV it says it is only $7 a month - are there other expenses?
Sarapdot Posted May 15, 2005 Author #13 Share Posted May 15, 2005 It's $7 a WEEK! The other expenses are optional. Like the LA Bars, kinda like slim fast bars. They also have chips, cookies, salad dressing and some other snacks that you can buy as well as supplements and vitamins. I just take my own multi vitamin and calcium. I don't do any of the other sup's.
