formal nights on QM2

Does anyone know how many formal nights the QM2 has on a transatlantic crossing. We were on QE2 for our honeymoon and there were 4 formal nights, but I have heard that number was reduced on QM2(which would be a shame) Anyone able to verify?

i did two crossings in october and november and there were three formal nights. i believe the sequence was first night casual, two nights in a row formal, one night informal, another night formal and last night casual.

Can you give advice regarding casual and informal dress ? I will wear a Dinner Jacket (black tie) on Formal nights but plan to do a Blazer and slacks with tie on informal and open neck short sleeve shirt for casual. Would this be acceptable in Princess Grill ?
