Sydney?

Yes.

Everytime we have been there on a cruise, ship, or with/by motor vehicle so many things to do then see.

Choices abound in churches, gardens, history, culture, gambling casino, etc...etc.. even the visitor center offers quite a bit too.

It is as in food a very subjective personal choice.

The area is wonderful, the people great ..

Hoofing it does take a little cost out of your trip but lacks distance thusly more variety..

You have to research what you want and then plan a few things and do one of your plans..

What ever you choose have a great and wonderful time doing it and there.

We are scheduled to be back in Sydney for a short ship trip on May 19th acoming.. , God willing.

I may go to Iona that day now, planned a few other things if that does not occur.

;)

Choices choices...

I only wish the Ship was in Port for a Lot Longer!

That is the problem with cruises. The ships are not in port for long.

Come visit us by land. You could spend weeks in Cape Breton alone and not be bored. I love to travel to distant places, but spend time travelling in Nova Scotia every year. There is always more to see. Our roads are not congested and we have a friendly laid back life style.

I think cruises are great, but in terms of exploring a place they give you the tiniest tip of the iceberg.
