:confused:We will be travelling on the Sapphire Princess next month LA to Vancouver, this is only our second cruise ever, our first was on the Pacific Jewel from Sydney to the South Pacific.

I would really like to know what if any differences that you may have seen between them:confused:

Hi - I have not been on the Jewell - however I have been on othe P&O ships and the Sapphire Princess.

Basic concept is the same ie. all meals, entertainment included, cruise cards are used etc etc - for me the biggest difference is the size of the ships - Sapphire is huge. The passengers you will encounter will be much more multi cultural - i.e. lots of Americans/Canadians, whereas P&O mainly Aussies. Also the service is a lot more polished on Princess. You will find it hard to go back to P&O once you have cruised Princess:D
