How is Splendor of the Seas?

Recommended Posts

All of the May 2012 cruises on the Splendour are basically Eastern Mediterranean and the Splendor is just perfect for that itinerary! Splendour is the smallest ship in Royal Caribbeans fleet (well, tied with Legend for smallest :D) but she only carries 1800 people so the ship never felt crowded. Because of the relatively small amount of passengers you really get to know the ships staff and they readily remember faces. And the bartender in the Schooner Bar was the BEST!

The Splendour doesn't have some of the amenities that the larger ships have (ice rink, royal promenade, flow rider, etc) but those itineraries are very port intensive (5 ports!!) so you'll probably never miss those amenities.

In short, she's a great small ship with a great crew sailing a great itinerary. :)
