cheeka Posted March 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2005  Our first cruise is now less than 2 weeks away, & I'm at the stage of downsizing my clothing choices. I hadn't even thought of 'smoke' until I read a comment today. Is smoking allowed in the dining room?? In all public locations on the ship?? I live in a province where smoking is banned everywhere ~~ restaurants, public bldgs, malls, etc,etc .. which is wonderful!! I HATE the smoke smell/odor that permeates (sp) clothing & hair. Is there a smoke/non-smokers area? What to do if people at our table are smokers? I think that I'll bring along Febreze but it cannot remove all odors. Any general ideas on dealing with it?? Thanks ..
springtxbill Posted March 13, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 13, 2005 No smoking in dining rooms and theaters on most ships. Smoking usually allowed in some bars and on decks on one side of the ship. You may want to post on the board specific to your cruise for more info.:)
kitty9 Posted March 13, 2005 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2005 No smoking in any of the dining rooms, but there is smoking on one side for all the lounges and bars, with the exception of the big show lounge--that is completely non smoking. The casino is probably the worst place for smoke, so you'll want to avoid that place.
