Using 50% discount

My BF's parents have a 50% off voucher to use. We are contemplating going on a cruise in September and they need to use the voucher within a year. If they decide not to go with us, can they give the voucher to us to use or is it only under their name? Also, my boyfriend and his father have the same name so maybe we could trick them?? If anyone has been in this situation before please let us know before we try to book a more expensive room than we can afford. :p

I don't believe you'll be able to do this - they also look at dates of birth. Sorry.

Call...they will be able to tell you for sure what you can and can't do with the certificate.

Hmmm...any suggestions? Could they "buy" the cruise for us or does the name on the voucher have to be the name of the person sailing?

The best bet is to call and ask. If you don't get the answer you hope for call and ask someone else. Have the cert ready just in case you get the answer you are hoping for. :)
