gam888 Posted April 21, 2011 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2011 Going to Falmouth in August. Hopfully the port will be more finished by then. If we don't want to take an excursion to Ocho Rios or Montego Bay, is there anything to do in Falmouth? Is there a nice sandy beach where you can take a taxi to and buy drinks or food there and use the chairs? What did you do when you were there? Is it safe to take an excursion by a local operator? We have always booked tour with local operators all over the Caribbean, but have heard Jamaica is not really that safe and vendors are extremely pushy. Any excursions will be $45 and up per person to Ocho Rios or Montego Bay, is there anything interesting to see other then the Dunn Falls? Thanks for any info. Contact Breezes Trelawny Beach Resort and see if they sell day passes. Very nice beach, right in Falmouth.
