Just adding to your question which I am interested in......

How is the miracle in general at night? which bars seem to have the most energy or people in the bar? which tend to be the quietest?

We were on it in Feb and Dr Frankenstein's lab had DJ and while quiet we were there several evenings for a good time. Lots of room on dance floor.

I have 4 cruises on 3 different ships. My experience has been that the DJ is a 20-something person playing his 20-something mixes in the disco. On cruises where there is no school/lots of young people, the place is hopping. Other times, ghost town.

Even my "I'll dance to anything" wife lost interest.

I have be looking for night life on any Carnival ship for the last 6 or 7 years and have found very little. Now on my older cruises 8-10 years ago the night life was always hoping. I don't know what has been going on but the late crowds have thinned out on my last cruises with Carnival for me.

On my Miracle cruise last April they mostly played current dance/pop type stuff in Frankenstein's. Dance floor wasn't very crowded, but there were a lot of people in the chairs and around the railings upstairs. The rock and roll bar (forget the name) looked really crowded every time I went by it at night, but I didn't go in. Looked like mostly people in their mid-30's and up in there.

What did you enjoy about it? Was it hopping?

More like HOTTTTTTTTT !!!:D

There are things about each Carnival ship that are so enjoyable.

Miracle ranks up there with the best of em ;) Dr Frankenstein's lab has a variety of music for all ages ,and at separate times . Read your Fun times !

We were on the Miracle in August, and Frankenstein's Lab was packed every night. The bar where the band plays also had a large crowd most nights.

which is "the bar" that the band plays???

I thought there were no bands anymore? Been reading only 2 piece bands with "musicbox" and "drumkit"
