if you do late seating in MDR

Recommended Posts

I find with the late seating that the servers dont seem as rushed. They dont have to have you served and out of there in time to set up for the next seating. So last time I had late seating on the Liberty, two years ago, it was 8.15 and we were finished either early by 9.30 or 9.45, because we only had two courses, or we lingered and were there some nights as late as 10pm or after. Just my experience. :)

Yes it alot really depends on you specific table. We always pick the late seating and luckily we have always met GREAT people at our table. Unfortunately for the wait staff...since we end up truly enjoying our company at dinner...we tend to draw it our. Most nights we are one of the last to leave the MDR. We do however make sure we compensate for this with our Main Waiter and his/her Asst at the end of the cruise. ;)
