Embarkation at Remich

Can anyone who has embarked on an AMA Waterways cruise at Remich fill me in on the process? We will not be taking the pre-cruise trip and so will be arriving at Remich on our own.

 

There does not appear to be a port, per se, just a dock. From what I've seen it seems to be located just south of the bridge (Route 406) near a park. I think, based on notes on the Luxembourg public transit web site, that the bus from Luxembourg city stops very close to this dock. Is this correct?
