Best shore excursions for kids?

We are traveling on the Legend for the July 24th sailing. This is our first cruise (our girls are 10 and 13), so we are wondering what the best shore excursions might be with kids of these ages. We would love to do some snorkeling and any other tours that would be most appealing to kids. Any advice appreciated.

BTW, the ports are Belize, Cozumel, Grand Caymen, and Roatan.

I suggest cave-tubing. Otherwise, if your DDs like animals, a visit to the Belize Zoo can be interesting since it's all about rehab of animals native to Belize. For snorkeling, a ship excurison off a boat can be good. Bannister Island and Goeff's Caye are also options, but not a lot of activities geared toward that age bracket. Mayan ruins can also be interesting to tweeners, but these are long day tours. Altun Ha ruins via River Wallace boat type tour could provide the best diversions.
