poohbear8 Posted March 13, 2005 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2005 I've checked cruisediva and didn't see a list for kids. I am looking for a list for kids ages 7-12. Does anyone have one? My brain is fried after helping my DS with his science fair project! I just want someone to tell me how many shorts, tops, etc. Thanks! MamaT Posted March 16, 2005 #2 Share Posted March 16, 2005 This post made me laugh. I asked my 11 year old DS to bring me the things he wanted to pack, I knew he wouldn't be able to really get everything, but I figured it was a starting place. He brought me swimming trunks, two tshirts, three pairs of underwear, one pair of socks and a dress shirt. I looked at him and reminded him we were going for 12 nights. He replied very sincerely, "I should bring pjs then, too?" Therese.

Robin G Posted March 17, 2005 #4 Share Posted March 17, 2005 I always bring two pair of pjs. On some cruise lines the kids' nighttime activities include "pajama night". After my daughter has been in her pjs running around and getting all swetty, snacking, and playing games, I like a fresh pair for her to wear to bed. factor Posted March 17, 2005 #5 Share Posted March 17, 2005 We are going with a 2yr old and a 9yr old. We will be on the ship for 5 days. We have come to the decision from how we cruise ourselves- 9yr old:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~2yr old: (29 months) 5 T-shirts~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~6 onesies 5 Tanks tops~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~5 tank dress's 5 Dressy Shirts~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~5 shirts 1 Formal Dress~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~5 shorts 1 Spring Dress~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~1 spring dress 2 Pair of pants(jeans & kahki)~~~~~~~1 formal dress 7 Shorts (to go with all of the shirts)~~12 each socks and underware 2 Bathing Suits~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~2 bathing suits Tennis Shoes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~tennis shoes Water Shoes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~water shoes Sandles~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~sandles Formal Dress Shoes~~~~~~~~~~~~~~dress sandles 10 underware~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~pj's 8 socks~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~3 pairs of pants(actually sets) 3 pair pj's~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~life jacket water toys(snorkel set)~~~~~~~~~~~~water/sand toys back pack~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~sunglasses taking walkie talkies for older girl~~~~~~~hats hats/sunglasses~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~light jacket/sweatshirt light jacket~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~8-10 pull-ups for at night I like to take baby wipes along for just in case moments. No real water around when you need it. And I would not use the wet rags they use to clean off tables on the Lido deck. Even when the kids aren't with us. When it comes to kids, you can over pack a lot. I use the theory of 2 outfits a day. 3 in port. I hope this helps. We leave next weekend. I can check back in when we return to let you know if it was enough or to little. Good Luck! ~Factor BTW: We also bought our 9yr old her own throw away camera's(2). So she can take pictures while in camp and for whatever she may like to remember from her trip(in her eyes).
