Fort Lauderdale Sun Trolley - 1 Day Pass?

Anyone ever use this Grayline service? Check bags at FLL then hop on/hop off trolley for the day awaiting your flight.

I cannot tell from the website, how you get back to FLL.

Also how do you get the info to plan your stops. There is a map of stops, but not time between stops or what is at the stops.

Thanks for any experiences in advance.

$29 pp seems a bit excessive, however, considering Greyline will store your bags for you and give you transportation to the FLL area, maybe that's not such a bad deal. You should call Greyline to ask about your return trip to the airport.

Sun Trolley is free on weekdays (Downtown route) and 50c per ride or $2 for a day pass on the Las Olas route. The Sun Trolley runs about every 15-20 minutes, and you just "wave" the trolley down when you want to get on, and/or let the driver know when you want to get off.

The Greyline website states that they will take you to the Sun Trolley (does not specify which pick up point) and to the Water Taxi (again, no further info on which stop). It states that your Sun Trolley pass is included, but it does not mention about the Water Taxi. Booking a day pass on the Water Taxi is $20 pp. So, it is not clear if the Water Taxi fare is in addition to the $29 pp with Greyline.

I suggest you contact Greyline with your questions. You will just have to weigh the costs of booking with Greyline vs doing this on your own.

Now, as far as what is at each stop, here is a link to both the Sun Trolley and the Water Taxi. I wish you a wonderful stay in Fort Lauderdale!
