Coki or Shappire beach in St. Thomas

Which do you prefer Coki or shappire beach. Do they each have food, rest room and chairs to rent? Going on Oasis in July and do not know which one to go to. Group of people including young and older. :rolleyes:

We went to Sapphire last year in September and it was by far the best beach we've ever been to. We had so much fun and didn't want to ever leave! Ever! :D

 

Here is a detailed review that I wrote when we returned. There is a link with all of my pictures from that day on the beach and the WONDERFUL snorkeling we had right off the beach that day. It was simply amazing.

What are the taxi prices from the cruise port to Sapphire Beach? I will be there on June 5th and I booked an excursion through the cruise line but after reading Mitsugirly's review I think I'll cancel it and save myself $365.

It was $10 pp. So we spent $40 in cab fare for the both of us, $7 to rent the snorkeling equipment for the day, and I think about $5 in drinks. Not bad for one of the best days on our cruise for under $55. :D
