It looks like the zipline goes straight into the water, does it? Do you have to swim to shore?

No, you are tethered to a cable down to a landing dock.

Thanks. It appeared from pictures posted here to go staight into the water. How do you get to the top to get on? Do you end up near the pier or somewhere in the middle of the beach? Thanks!

DH and his brother did this last October. They take you by truck to a practice ziplining facility then back in the truck you go to the top of the main zipline run for the ride.

 

You don't go into the water, just over it (although if there were waves, you might get a bit wet).

 

Its a geat ride, a litle short (goes fast) and they wanted to do it again!
