If you ate at Remy and met with the Sommelier beforehand...

Tell me about that experience. We are planning on dining in Remy on our anniversary, and will bring along a bottle of special wine that I know they don't offer, but also plan on ordering either a Champagne or perhaps a white wine in advance.

Did you feel pressured to select a specific wine? I'm pretty knowledgeable, but always willing to listen to suggestions, however I don't like it when a sommelier or wine steward pushes some random wine because that's it's either overstocked or a higher markup item.
