camper49 Posted May 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2011 If not using a TA, when you call carnival do you ask to speak with a PVP? Or book with the person that answers?
golfadj Posted May 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2011 You can book either way. However if you want a relationship with someone there who will know you and your preferences better to book with pvp.
Bo Didly Posted May 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 12, 2011 Your booking with an association of Carnival . You will only speak direct with Carnival after your booked. When you call Carnival there will be an option for already booked .

Whether using a PVP or traditional TA, you need to know them and they need to know you and your preferences.
AWCHIEF Posted May 12, 2011 #5 Share Posted May 12, 2011 I have used the same PVP for 5 years, so I call him direct. He is very proactive in a helpful way. He knows my preferences and if something comes up that he thinks that I may be interested in he either e-mails or calls me.
Cruise-Crazy Posted May 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted May 12, 2011 After 25 cruises my PVP left Carnival and I had to start over with a new guy. :(
NASA138 Posted May 19, 2011 #7 Share Posted May 19, 2011 The DW and I are planning a B2B on the Dream next February. I have always booked online myself, but due to the B2B and the desire to renew our wedding vows for our 35th wedding anniversary in 2012, I have decided to try a PVP. Any suggestions? I assume I can call and request a particular PVP? Thanks in advance for your help

We are lucky from some of the pvp stories I've read on here.
elcuchio24 Posted May 19, 2011 #9 Share Posted May 19, 2011 If you are computer savvy, you can book everything yourself on CCL website.:)
SE NC Posted May 19, 2011 #10 Share Posted May 19, 2011 I (bride also!) also have a great PVP. If you have one you like...get his 5 number ext code and you can call him/her direct. Are we allowed to mention our PVP's name!:D
