budamom Posted May 13, 2011 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2011 We are taking the New Year's cruise on the Navigator leaving Dec. 30th for 9 nights out of Ft. Lauderdale. My husband and I are usually very early to bed type of people, and up with the sunrise. Having said that, we will also have 3 teenagers in tow. I had originally said I wanted the late dining, but now I'm thinking of doing the early. Does anyone know what time that starts, and what would work best with shows/teens, etc? thanks for your help! jackretired Posted May 13, 2011 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2011 Early or late, shows are not a problem. Early can be a problem with getting back from port. Some people feel rushed with early seating to clear out for late seating. Late seating allows sitting and talking after dinner with table mates. negc Posted May 13, 2011 #3 Share Posted May 13, 2011 We are booked on this cruise and have chosen My Time Dining. Based on the published itinerary, everyone has to be back on the ship from each of the ports in plenty of time to get ready for early seating dinner, and shows are scheduled so that people in both traditional seatings are able to attend. If you take MTD, and there is a particular show you want to see, just plan to eat at a time that evening that will allow you to make one of the showtimes. See you onboard.
