This was taken when we were part of the way up El Castillo, looking down at what would have been "rooms"
Thanks for the access to you photos. They looked great. I'll assome that you're still adding them on fb? The review ihas been fun to read so far.

Thanks,
Geoff
:D
Yeah, I have to weed through the Roatan pics because there are like 40 of J and I and not all of them are that great, so I am trying to pick and choose before I throw them all on fb. I'll get the rest up this weekend.
- what service! We got a quick ride back to the port and I gave that driver $20 because I didn't have any small bills and I appreciated his speed in picking us up and getting us back to the port. I was smiling the whole way back to the ship because it was such a great day!

20.00 on top of the taxi fee????

I remember our cruise to Aruba-- and no sun screen for us-- thinking we are in shade how bad could it get.
My honey's top of his feet got so burned they were brown- (its a degree burn jsut dont remember which but he carries the scars today which remind us every time

You guys definately looked over dressed for the ruins:eek:. I'm a shorts and t-shirt person, I would have dunked myself in bug spray and taken my chances:cool:. We go in a month:), so the rains will likely be a factor.

I know :( I'm not really used to dealing with bug spray, so I wasn't sure I wanted to lather myself with it. But I think your approach would be better!

If its anything like Altun Ha, you will be swarmed by mosquitos as soon as you get on the ballcourt. Don't use the bug wipes. Get a can of Deep Woods off you'll be glad you did.

Good advice, i was goingto bring wipes since they are a little easier to pack and lighter. OFF sounds like a better investment.

I wonder if time of year and weather has anything to do with the mosquitos?
We went in February and nary a bug was to be seen.

Was there rain before you got there?

J passed out (please ignore the nerd book in the foreground) - this kind of shows you how close we were to the covered area where the bar and lunch area is - and how beautiful it was!

Another pic of the pool

That's about it, I didn't take all that many pics at Nachi - I was too busy drinking and sitting on the bar stool in the pool, you know :p

Next up - Roatan!!
