Zip line + beach?

Hi, we will be going to Roatan on Carnival Legend on June 19 (8:00 AM 3:00 PM ship time). We have reservations for clipnzip which is supposed to be close to the port. Would we have time to take a cab after the zipline and go to West Bay Beach for some snorkel, or should we just stick at Mahogany Bay beach?

Was anyone done one or the other?

Clip N Zip is directly across from the entranceway into the shopping area of MBCC. What time are your reservations? If around 9AM or 10 AM (ship time), yes, you'll have plenty of time to head for West Bay. Walk up the hill and outside the gates to get a cab at a lower rate than inside the port complex. And when catching a cab either inside or outside, be sure to confirm the price as a round trip and secure an understanding/guarantee of what time you will be picked up. Cabs do not normally "patrol" or hang out at West Bay resorts looking for fares, like they do in Cozumel. Make sure that both you and the driver understand which "time" is being used. Roatan is on Central Standard time. Then Legend is on Eastern Daylight. 2 hours difference between ship time (departure) and local time.
