Cuizer2 Posted May 24, 2011 #26 Share Posted May 24, 2011 Ridiculous comparison. The main reason, to a luggage thief, there is NO WAY to lock your luggage if there is a zipper. No lock will stop the thief from opening the zipper in a mili second. If your house and car had an entry point of a zipper, you might as well not lock your house or car. Simple as that. What you refer to only applies to plastic zippers. With metal zippers or hard sided luggage this is not a problem. Thus your premise is wrong. Janet Foster Posted May 24, 2011 #27 Share Posted May 24, 2011 the same applies to your car and home. You don't want to lock your car or home as that will tip people off that there must be something of value in there. This also explains why banks always leave the vaults open. The banks don't want anything thinking that there is something of value in there. haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
