Jax Cruise Parking

Just wondering if anyone has used the Jax cruise parking lot that is advertised for $5 per day that is near port. I would like to know how easy it is to get shuttle after cruise. I don't want to spend a hour waiting, when I can leave right from the port. But, I would like to use them since it is a good deal and a lot cheaper than the port parking.

We were on the Fascination about a month ago. My sister lives in Jax so they drive to the port. She was also looking at that lot you were speaking of. After driving up to it, she decided it wasn't a good idea. They parked in the port lot.
