Just got back from a GREAT 3 day quick getaway on the MOS..it was our 5th time on this ship..we did our second cruise on this ship in 98 7 day Western Carb. This trip was awesome in many ways..First of all it was FREE I won a promotion from work so 15 sales reps plus a guest and then some upper "Brass" went We were given rooms on Deck 9 and a Mastercard Gift card of $500 plus parking and tips !! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

 

So this being our 5th trip on MOS i was excited to see the upgrades, since our last trip was a couple of months before they put her in dry dock.

 

Since we live in South Florida we love the quick 50 ride to the port and parked in the garage @ 11:40 and I had my first beverage on board right @ noon. VERY SMOOTH. We thought the boat looked great, Windjammer looked great as did the food but we went to the Compass Deli and enjoyed lunch very much.

Our room on Deck 9 was great very spacious..a far cry from our 7 day cruise on deck 2 inside cabin yikes !!!

Everything on the ship felt new and the staff was VERY friendly. Room was kept clean. Bartenders were fast . Wait satff was good in dining room, food service was a bit slow the first 2 nights but overall the food was very good on all accounts. Desserts seemed better than before. Liked the coffee shop very nice.

Coco Cay is awesome . My wife and I love this place, she can snorkel and all day. I can be lazy and drink some " Cold Ones" and talk with some of my friends.

We had the best time I have had in Nassau in a long while.some of my co workers and I meet at a place called Goldies had some lunch then walked back to to Senor Frogs had a couple of drinks there, bought a few items in the Straw market which seemd less annoying this time.

 

Then I bought some great Conch salad inside the terminal building right next to the rest rooms. The guy chopped up everything right in front of me VERY GOOD !! $5.00 for a 10 oz portion.

 

The only issue we had the whole week was the smoking in the Casino..do all RCCL ships allow smoking in the casino?? I have been on carnival and I dont remember them allowing smoking. It was kindda annoying but didnt take away from the fun we had. In such a small area all the smoking seemed to make a haze.
