what is the weath like in may

We have cruised twice in May on Princess and will be doing another one in May/2005.

In 2002, the weather was 55-65 at each port with little rain. The next year the weather was 50-60 and it rained all day in Ketchikan.

The ship can get "breezy" near the glaciers, so be sure to dress in layers. Gloves and a hat (or hooded sweatshirt/jacket) make glacier viewing very nice.

Have fun!

i wanted to know what the weather is like in may?

Hi!

I had great weather in May - shorts in Skagway (but don't count on it!). Layers and a provision for rain are essential. It will definitely be cold at a glacier face or on deck when the ship is at speed.

Have a great cruise!

That's a question that doesn't have an answer. If anyone here can predict it then they are a higher being then any of us mortals. Whether it's May, June, July, August, or September the answer is the same ..... who knows, prepare for anything and everything.
