What food do you now eat after first trying it on a cruise.

There's nothing that i've had on a cruise (for the first time) that i eat now. That's one of the joys of cruising, to be able to have rack of lamb and fried calamari.

Sushi! Was always scared to try it on 'land' but figure on the ship no big deal! Found that I actually lke it and will sometimes have it now!

#1 Key Lime Pie (my first cruise addiction foodie):p I'll second the sushi, only on cruises, don't like it enuf to pay extra for it, but edible all the same.

I'll 4th it! Never thought I would like it, but I finally tried it on my last cruise...I'm looking forward to it in a few weeks! Yum! However, be advised that it is quite hot when delivered to your table, so be careful not to drop one of those slippery suckers down the front of your shirt/dress...I know from experience. My face was not the only thing that turned bright red...I had some minor burns on my chest for the remainder of the cruise. Oops!

Definitely not the Flat Iron Steak which was just terrible. I tried to choke it down a couple of times and was unsuccessful.

However most of the new foods I have tried have not seen off the ships.

I ordered escargot on our last cruise and the waiter brought a plate with these little things that looked like snails on it. There were so many snails, you could'nt even see the food.
