Paradise - Long Beach Embarkation

My father refuses to use a wheelchair, but he can't stand for very long. Are there chairs at the Long Beach pier so he can sit while waiting for check-in?

No. There are some concrete benches, but very few. I would maybe bring one of the colapsible chairs that have the handle that looks somewhat like a cane.

If he can be convinced, however, there are folks waiting just inside the security line who will have a wheelchair for him and let the whole party go through expedited check in. Recently boarded with my mom, who uses a cane, and they stopped us and offered assist. Really nice because the lines inside were long! I offered a tip after they wheeled her on board and he said we was not allowed to take it.
