Post-cruise stay

Total novice that I am, I booked a post-cruise hotel stay in Tahiti rather than what just about everyone does instead, a pre-cruise. I guess that means I will not have the day room before my flight back to LA nor the bus tour! I am bummed. But if you have done a post-cruise stay, can you tell me how it was for you? Thanks!

We have done one post cruise stay, and we are fixing to do our second after our June 18th cruise. To answer your question, how bad can a stay (pre or post) in paradise be? :)

Forgot to mention, the first time was on Taha'a, and this time will be on Bora Bora.
