Thoughts on the molecular bar

On my Oct cruise my GF and I tried out the Molecular Bar. We were both interested by the drinks there but a bit disappointed by the bartender. He just seemed very full of himself. We greatly preferred the Martini bar and the waiters there, especially Adrian. They just seemed to be there more for the customer than the Molecular Bar bartender was.

 

Same impression we had. Could never figure out what his motive was but it never seemed to be being courteous or selling drinks. I guess me and my wife were the wrong age group, not batting for the same team, wrong ethnic group, etc????

 

Actually he may have done us a favor by turning down our business as we had a great time at the Martini bar and met a great group of passengers. Plus we got great martinis instead of some gimmick phoo phoo stuff.

We loved the Molecular Bar, but agree that the bartender makes the experience.
