Hawaii ports and rental cars

I used the website you mentioned to book a rental car for Maui through Thrifty. I noticed you mentioned in another post that there are shuttles at the pier. Are they always there, or do you need to let Thrifty know you are on a cruise? We are picking up in Kahului.

The Thrifty shuttle will be there when the ship docks. If you get off in the first few hours of arrival, you will be fine. If you get off late, then you may need to call them. Here's the addresses & direct phone numbers:
